Janet Smith, the Founder and the Principal of First Steps Pre-School, studied at the Teacher College and has 13 years experience in education and she is a qualified Pre-School Teacher. Our staff are carefully chosen by Tamlyn in conjunction with the Governing Body. All staff excel at their profession.
Our teachers are professionally qualified and experienced. Their aim is to encourage a child's spontaneous desire to learn and stimulate their natural curiosity. The teachers therefore constantly observe, give direction and encourage the children in all they do.
